FERIA CHAPINA & GRAN PABELLON CENTROAMERICANO LOS ANGELES 2016 REGULATIONS


  • 1) The fair will take place on July 18th through the 21th 2016, at STUBHUB CENTER located in Carson, California.

  • 2) Each company must choose the most convenient booth according to their kind of product, inside the designated areas.

  • 3) The request of the booth will be confirmed with a 50% payment in advance. Also you must fill out the respective agreement, duly signed. The 100% payment must be made by June 30th; otherwise, you may not participate in the fair.

  • 4) The sublease of the booth is not allowed.

  • 5) Every exhibiting company shall appoint a representative, who will be in charge of every communication related to the fair with Ferias and Festivales Internacionales, Inc.

  • 6) Ferias and Festivales Internacionales, Inc. will respect the location confirmed by the participating company.

  • 7) Each booth is given with canvas or vinyl walls and a metal structure. It is forbidden to paint, drill, or damage the walls and structure, if so; the company will be responsible to pay for the damages made to the booth. If you need any changes or adjustments, please notify them to the staff of the event, so the assembly company may proceed to make such changes.

  • 8) If a company wants to place any kind of walls, panels or vinyl banners, it may do so, as long as it does not exceed the height of 8 feet. Placing banners and furniture that blocks the corridor or the visibility of the neighbor is not allowed.

  • 9) Single booths are provided with a double electric outlet and lighting.

  • 10) Double booths are provided with two double electric outlets and lighting.

  • 11) The exhibitors shall bring their own electrical appliances ready to plug in; home-made installations are not allowed. If any non-authorized connection is made, the exhibitor will be responsible for the damages caused and shall respond and pay for every partial or total damage resulted from this action.

  • 12) Ferias and Festivales Internacionales, Inc. is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage that may occur to the property of the exhibitor; nor the death or physical injury of the employees, agents, hosts, guests, and other personnel. By signing the agreement, the exhibitor exonerates Ferias and Festivales Internacionales, Inc. of any responsibility.

  • 13) Ferias and Festivales Internacionales, Inc. will provide a private security service, for day and night shifts inside the fairground during the fair schedules. This service will end on Sunday, August 21th , at 10:00 p.m.

  • 14) Ferias and Festivales Internacionales, Inc. is not responsible for damages or losses during the set up and dismantling of the fair.

  • 15) The fairground will be open 30 minutes before it opens to the public, so the responsible person of each booth must keep it open in the following schedule: a. Thursday, Assembly: 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Official Opening. b. Friday: 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM. c. Saturday: 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. d. Sunday: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM As long as the exhibition area is open, the exhibiting company must have a responsible person in its booth.

  • 16) In case of having any small articles or valuables in the booth, these are under the strict responsibility of the exhibitor, Ferias and Festivales Internacionales, Inc. is not responsible for them.

  • 17) Each single booth will have the right of 2 ID tags.

  • 18) Each double booth will have the right of 4 ID tags.

  • 19) Each official sponsor will have the right of 8 ID tags.

  • 20) Each additional ID tag will have a price of $10.00.

  • 21) Every exhibitor must wear the ID tag during the fair. The use of the ID tags by third parties who are not the official bearers is forbidden.

  • 22) Ferias and Festivales Internacionales, Inc. reserves the right to allow entry of any exhibitor, person or entity.

  • 23) If a cancellation petition is presented, it must be done in writing and addressed to Ferias and Festivales Internacionales, Inc. explaining the reasons for the cancellation. The conditions related to money refunds indicated in the signed agreement remain valid.

  • 24) Ferias and Festivales Internacionales, Inc. is not responsible if the event is cancelled under any circumstance beyond our control (natural disasters, fires, or governmental regulations).

  • 25) Ferias and Festivales Internacionales, Inc. is not responsible of the logistics and transportation of the exhibitors’ merchandise.

  • 26) Ferias and Festivales Internacionales, Inc. does not do any migration procedures of any kind.

  • 27) Ferias and Festivales Internacionales, Inc. is not responsible if any participant’s activities cannot take place due to security or hygiene governmental regulations.

  • 28) Note that sound systems, radio and TV must be kept at a reasonable volume that does not interfere with other exhibitors and the public. Speakers must be pointed to the floor and placed at the back of the booth. Ferias and Festivales Internacionales, Inc. will have the right to request to lower the volume if it is affecting the public or their fellow exhibitors.

  • 29) The exhibitors shall return the booth back in the same conditions it was given to them. The exhibitor shall pay for damages that could occur during the use of the booth.

  • 30) The sale of alcoholic beverages outside the designated area is strictly forbidden

  • 31) It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to keep their booth clean during the fair.

  • 32) Personnel attending the booth must be appropriately dressed and must behave in a courteous manner the whole time.

  • 33) Parking for the exhibitors’ vehicles inside the field of the fair will not be allowed. You will only be allowed to unload your products before the fair opens each day.

  • 34) In case of rain, each exhibitor must protect its merchandise, as soon as the rain stops, the booth must be re-opened immediately.

  • 35) Do not leave your booth unattended at any time. At the end of the day, televisions or sound systems must be properly put away out of sight. Ferias and Festivales Internacionales, Inc. will not be responsible for the loss of your products or equipment.

  • 36) If you hire anyone less than 18 years of age, they must have a valid work permit.

  • 37) May the exhibitor want to distribute food and beverage samples, must use a #16 (1.25 ounces) plastic cup. Food samples must be no bigger than 4” square inches.
